The new Heritage Hotel of Abad Group- Grand Residencia-opened in Fort Cochin with grandeur of 140 years of history. This luxury hotel on the Princess Street of Kochi.Mr.Koder. a renowned businessman and a reputed Jew, built this house in the Portugese colony of Fort Kochi in 1868. This beautiful Koder House has a mixture of Portugese and Kerala architecture. After Koder family left for Israel, this was rented out to different business organizations .In the transition from Koder house to Grand Residencia, the Abad Group has taken care to retain the old-world charm of this historic house. The open courtyard, long verandas, typical Portuguese doors and windows.. everything’s remains the same even after a century.
